Ahhhh, a sigh of relief. I am soon to venture back into the studio after a 6 month break. I am feeling refreshed and very excited to get back into the swing of things. My voice is ready to be released back into the sky. It has rested. It is strong.
I am so excited. After so long feeling like I had been covered by a black cloud, the silver lining is finally showing and the sun is powering though. The music is gonna flow through my veins once again, and 2009 is gonna be the year of my album release. I feel it!

GETTING READY TO TAKE OFF!
Well, step by step, I am making tremendous progress. Besides rehearsing for theatrical shows that I am involved in, I have been working hard on new material and polishing up some old stuff.
I am very excited to finally announce one of my first singles to be officially released. "FLY" will be coming out in the next couple of months with half the proceeds going to a specific charity. Once I have finalized all of the details of the charity involvement, I will announce it then. But I am so excited to get it finished, polished, mastered and out the door and into people's ears!

MY BIRTHDAY WEEK & WISHES
Another year older, as of tomorrow. Aye yi yi. I can't believe it. I feel like only yesterday I graduated high school and was just entering the big bad world.
But as I get older, I feel a little stronger, a little wiser. And at times, a little more creative! I went back into the studio yesterday and laid down another track. WOW, it felt so good to just get on track and plow forward. Bam Bam Bam! It was done. Now I can get to work on harmonies, backup, etc, then move onto another track. It's such a wonderful feeling to get things accomplished. I can't wait to get more done....
I'm sure you can imagine what my birthday wishes are....I'll just keep dreaming them to come true!

STOP & GO, STOP & GO
Stop and go, stop and go seems to be the pattern. When you are on your own in making your dream come true, that is the ride I have to take. I am not getting the album done as fast as I want to, but I will. Late 2007, early 2008. I have to keep reminding myself that artists take years on their projects sometimes, so I am only a year and half into mine. Patience is a virtue. Thank you to all of the fans who have been checking up on me and keeping me motivated. It means a lot.

BACK ON TRACK!
WOW! I can't believe it's been a month and a half already. Time flies when you're busy! Aye yi yi! But I am back in the studio, continuing to write and sing. And now that everything else in my life is slowing down, I am taking the opportunity to rocket ahead. I am anticipating a November release of my album. Why November? That's my birthday month, so I would really be happy if I can get it done and out by then. It is a long hard road, but I will NEVER give up! Stay tuned for more info to come, and maybe even a new song! ;)

A BUMP IN THE ROAD....
Well, as I feared, I will have to take a step back and push back my album release. I didn't want to because I was excited to get it out. However, something like this to be done right, must take time. And that is what I need...more time to finish the 14/15 track album I have blossoming under careful watch of mine and my producer's eyes.

TIMES IS HARD...
Yes, ladies and gentlemen,
Times is hard and time is hard to come by. But I am forging ahead despite many setbacks. My album WILL get completed and it will be a success. I am probably over half way done by now, but time and money are always a ruling factor in the world as we all know, all too well.
Stress levels are high, but I am keeping the faith and thank the few people who have taken their prescious time to remind me to do so.
Will I have to push my album back again? I don't want to say yet, but unfortunately, it my be a possibility.

HOT LIGHTS, SWEAT & TEARS!
Wow, the past two Sunday's were intense. Celebrating the CT Cabaret Theatre's 10 year anniversary was so nice. And I got to debut my song "FLY" which turned out to be such an amazing experience. The crowds of all 4 performances were very warm and receptive to it. Especially the last crowd... they were rowdy, encouraging and overwhelmingly supportive. The last time we sang "FLY" was so special. The choir behind me rocked the house, the song hit a peak, the audience roared. The emotions and tears were flowing. The hot lights beaming down on us, make our sweat look like everyone had stars shining on them. The choir rushed me and hugged me and it was purely magical. I will never ever forget that moment.
Thank you to all who came to support me and hear my song. Thank you to my choir, my friends, for standing so proudly behind me. Thank you to Audrey for conducting my choir so beautifully. And thank you to Kris for letting me perform my song on his stage.
It was a moment that sent us all flying. And I am so grateful.
