Wow, the past two Sunday's were intense. Celebrating the CT Cabaret Theatre's 10 year anniversary was so nice. And I got to debut my song "FLY" which turned out to be such an amazing experience. The crowds of all 4 performances were very warm and receptive to it. Especially the last crowd... they were rowdy, encouraging and overwhelmingly supportive. The last time we sang "FLY" was so special. The choir behind me rocked the house, the song hit a peak, the audience roared. The emotions and tears were flowing. The hot lights beaming down on us, make our sweat look like everyone had stars shining on them. The choir rushed me and hugged me and it was purely magical. I will never ever forget that moment.
Thank you to all who came to support me and hear my song. Thank you to my choir, my friends, for standing so proudly behind me. Thank you to Audrey for conducting my choir so beautifully. And thank you to Kris for letting me perform my song on his stage.
It was a moment that sent us all flying. And I am so grateful.

FINALLY FLYING!
Last night was the first time ever that I sang any of my songs in public. OK, so it was't public public, but I sang it at rehearsal for a special gala show at the CT Cabaret Theatre. I sang "FLY" with a 30 member choir behind me.
I had been fighting this persistant winter cold for months and I finally felt well enough to belt it out good and strong. Even though there weren't more than 4 people in the audience (it was a rehearsal don't forget), it was one of the most amazing experiences. There's nothing like singing a song that you wrote with a choir singing beautifully behind you. I was floating the rest of the night.
I will be performing the song live in 4 performances at the CT Cabaret Theatre mid-April.
The CT Cabaret Theatre is a second home to me. Before I ever enetered my world of songwriting and album-making, I was performing on stage there, dabbing in the worlds of Broadway. So I only felt it appropriate to debut all of my hard work there, where the patrons and fellow performers have been so tremendously supportive.
Anyway, I'm still "fly"ing. I'll keep you all posted on the actual performances. My FIRST EVER! Wow.

On Cloud Nine
Did you ever imagine and dream about things when you were very young and hear, feel and see everything it was to be like? This is it for me. I was in the studio for four hours last night singing my heart out, continuing my album work, and just took a look around, and totally acknowledged the fact that I was seven years old again, and this was what I always wanted. Instead of singing on my light up toy microphone, I was now singing in a high quality vocal booth. Instead of singing with the radio, I was singing songs that I wrote. The dream I always dreamed was forming right in front of my eyes. I was on cloud nine when I left. Nothing makes me happier than singing and creating music.
I hope to share this with the world. I hope to do it for as long as I possibly can. And I hope you all will join me on cloud nine, as I continue on my musical dream journey!

It's official, ladies and gentlemen! I found out yesterday that...
